The online magazine, The F, has featured Kingswim’s Water Safety Program in one of their articles.
Last year, we revamped our Water Safety Program which aims to teach young children and their families all about the importance of staying safe in and around water. We revealed the program on National Water Safety Day to encourage all Australians to make water safety a priority.
Writing about our program, The F explained that ‘the revamped Water Safety Program features an array of entertaining, engaging, and informative resources and services. Designed for children aged three to five, these resources include a catchy song, interactive storybooks, and playful games, all carefully crafted to help children learn fundamental water skills while having fun.’
The F also covered the history of Kingswim’s Water Safety Program and recognised the creator of the program, Anne Brown’s, dedication to water safety education.
They reported:
‘Originally launched in 2004, Kingswim’s Water Safety Program has already reached over 50,000 children in its previous form. The refreshed version enhances the existing in-person offering and introduces new digital assets, ensuring that vital safety information is delivered in an entertaining and memorable way.
Anne Brown, recognized with the Holt Australia Day Award in 2007 for her dedication to water safety education, expressed her pride in unveiling the improved Water Safety Program. Having collaborated with numerous educators, policymakers, and industry bodies over the past two decades, Anne’s passion for helping young Australians develop strong water skills remains unwavering.’
