Lesson types
Baby swimming lessons
Designed for babies from 12 weeks to three years, our Foundation program is a wonderful way to introduce your child to the water. In these lessons, parents and babies can swim together. Expect a calm atmosphere with lots of fun activities as you both get comfortable in the water.
Kids swimming lessons
No matter your child’s swimming ability, we have a program for them. Our Independent program is ideal for beginners while our Competent program is great for those who have the basics covered and are ready to develop their skills. In the Graduate program, children can advance to become a swimming expert!
Squad swimming lessons
Graduate swimmers have the opportunity to take part in our Squad program. These lessons will introduce your child to the amazing world of competitive swimming. They’ll also get the chance to advance their lifesaving and survival skills, as well as their endurance, technique and fitness.
Adult swimming lessons
Whether you’re ready to dip your toes into the pool for the first time or want to progress your skills after some time away – you can do it with our adult swimming lessons. We offer basic, intermediate and advanced lessons so you can improve your confidence and technique, whatever your ability.
Holiday swimming program
Fast Track is our fun, intensive swimming program that takes place during the school holidays. Open to all families and class levels from K1 up, Fast Track helps children to strengthen key skills in the water, improve their technique and achieve new milestones – no matter where they're at in their swimming journey.
Survival swimming lessons
Every Kingswim program includes vital survival swimming lessons to help your child learn water safety skills and techniques. We also offer a special ‘Survival Week’ and ‘Endurance Week’ tailored to each program and level, so children of all ages can become confident and capable swimmers.
Timetable
We run most classes most days, so whether you're looking on behalf of your child, multiple children, or yourself, we can make it work. If a class is showing as 'waitlist', please give us a call, and we'll find a solution.
You can then trial a live class and if it's right for you, stay and enrol in that class. Explore our timetable below.

Meet our people
Zara
Centre Manager
Hi, I’m Zara. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing the happiness and pride on our swimmers’ faces when they master a new skill.
Since joining Kingswim in 2019 as a swim teacher and progressing to Assistant Manager, I’ve developed a strong passion for water safety — a skill that not only protects swimmers but also empowers them to help others.
When I’m not working, I’m studying forensic science and enjoying concerts and swimming with friends in my free time.

How often should we attend swimming lessons?
We recommend regular weekly lessons. As the old saying goes, practise makes perfect! Children will always benefit more from learning in a regular and continuous way.
-

We have a free start up kit that includes a membership card to scan as you arrive at your lesson each week and a free pair of Kingswim branded bathers (swimmer or togs – depending on which part of Australia you’re from)!

When can we start lessons?
Anytime! We don’t make families wait until the start of a new school term to commence lessons. As soon as you’re ready to go, we’re ready to welcome you!
-
Do parents have to attend the lessons?
It’s a family affair! As part of our commitment to safety, all parents are required to be in attendance during all learn to swim lessons. We also think it’s great for parents to see first-hand how their child is developing.
