On Tuesday January 15, Kingswim was very proud to open our 20th dedicated learn to swim school in Clyde North Victoria.
The new state-of-the-art centre is just 15 metres from the newly launched Clyde North Tuckers Road YMCA Early Learning Centre, creating a convenient education hub for Clyde North families.
Among those there to celebrate the launch were Olympic swimmer and Kingswim ambassador Josh Beaver, Federal Member for La Trobe Jason Wood, State Member for Bass Jordan Crugnale and City of Casey Mayor Cr Amanda Stapledon.
As a Casey local, Josh Beaver said he was thrilled to see more local kids having access to world class swimming lessons and that the next Olympic swimmer could come out of this very pool.
There to test out the new facilities were our lucky Star News competition winners, Kade and Storme Graham, who won the prestigious right to be the first ever children to swim in the brand new 20m x 6-lane pool.
The boys were quickly followed in by Mum and bub Liam, who took part in the first official Clyde North lesson.
Kingswim Clyde North will provide 200 scheduled swimming classes per week from babies aged 12 weeks right through to graduate level swimmers.
The centre includes purpose-built areas such as graded pool depths and lane lengths, warm water and pool deck temperatures, immaculate water quality, and family friendly change rooms – making it comfortable for everyone.
Along with our neighbours YMCA we’re thrilled to unveil this holistic community hub with both centres providing the learning essentials children need to thrive.
At Kingswim and YMCA ELC, local kids will have access to learning and development opportunities ranging from water safety to physical, cognitive and language development and social, numeracy and literacy skills.
